When is the best time to start ?

The best time to start something.
Here, “something” means any task that you want to complete or any activity that you want to do or any goal that you want to achieve.

Some people think that the Best time to start something should be the first day of the week (Sunday or Monday) or the first date of the month.  or maybe the priest (pandit) should tell you the best day to start something.

The best example will be the new year resolution. We will add a good habit in our life. If today is the 2nd December then you will wait for 1st January of the next year to start working on that habit. Why not right now? Why do you have to give yourself so much time to start something that is good for you.

How many times it has happened with you that you want to change some habit and you think that, “OK I will start it from the next day of the week or the next month”. But that day never comes because you start procrastinating. This type of behavior needs to be changed, because it is making you avoid those actions that will improve your life.

Olin Miller has said, “IF YOU WANT TO MAKE AN EASY JOB SEEM MIGHTY HARD, JUST KEEP PUTTING OFF DOING IT”.

That simply means until and unless you won’t start doing it you will always think it is hard to do. Because you cannot say, something is hard or easy or impossible to do unless you have tried it!

When we first time think of “something” to start, we make a lot of excuses that, "I will start from tomorrow or the day after tomorrow." But when the day comes to start that “something”, you forgot about what the task you wanted to do and why you wanted to do it. So throw all your excuses out of your mind and start thinking about how you are going to do that “something”

The best time to start that “something” was yesterday (or the day when you have the first thought of doing that “something”)  and the second best time is today.
